PLUS Announces Overnight Traffic Diversions on Johor Highway

Motorists travelling through Johor’s North-South Expressway (E2) tonight are advised to plan ahead as temporary traffic diversions and stoppages will be carried out between Senai Utara and Kulai.

The traffic control will take place at KM26 of the northbound and southbound carriageways, starting from 10pm on September 29 until 5am on September 30. The measures are part of preparation and clean-up activities for rock blasting works related to the extra-lane expansion project on the E2.

The main blasting operation is scheduled between 1am and 1.30am on September 30. During this 30-minute period, traffic will be temporarily stopped in both directions to ensure the safety of road users and workers.

According to PLUS, traffic will resume as soon as the blasting area has been cleared and necessary safety inspections are completed.

Motorists using this stretch of the highway overnight are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow traffic instructions at the affected area.
