Perodua Slashes Axia Prices by Up to RM4,700 Effective Immediately

Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) has announced a price reduction of up to RM4,700 for the Perodua Axia, with the new pricing taking immediate effect. The move is aimed at making Malaysia's best-selling entry-level hatchback more affordable, while helping consumers reduce the cost of daily mobility amid a challenging economic environment.

According to Perodua, the price revision is the result of continuous improvements in operational efficiency and cost optimisation, allowing the company to pass the savings directly to customers. Importantly, all Axia variants retain the same specifications, quality, and safety standards, ensuring buyers continue to enjoy the same value despite the lower prices.

Under the new pricing for Peninsular Malaysia, the Axia 1.0 G now starts at RM33,900, down RM4,700 from its previous price of RM38,600. The Axia 1.0 X is now priced at RM38,500 following a RM1,500 reduction, while the Axia 1.0 SE is available at RM43,000, down RM1,000. The range-topping Axia 1.0 AV now costs RM49,000, reflecting a RM500 price reduction.

For customers in Sabah and Sarawak, the Axia 1.0 G is now priced at RM35,900 after a RM4,700 reduction. The Axia 1.0 X now retails at RM40,500, while the Axia 1.0 SE is priced at RM45,000, with both receiving reductions of RM1,500 and RM1,000 respectively. Meanwhile, the Axia 1.0 AV now carries a new price of RM51,000, following a RM500 reduction. All prices exclude insurance.

With this latest adjustment, Perodua is sharing the benefits of its operational savings with customers, reinforcing its commitment to providing affordable, reliable, and high-quality mobility solutions for Malaysians without compromising the Axia's specifications or overall quality.
