Diesel Prices Fall by 5 Sen to RM3.30 per Litre.
Here’s the weekly fuel price update for Malaysia, as announced by the Ministry of Finance, from August 8 to August 14, 2024.
This week, there is a reduction in the price of diesel. The cost of Euro 5 B10 and B20 diesel blends has decreased by 5 sen to RM3.30 per litre, down from RM3.35 per litre, where it had been since June 10 due to the start of the subsidy rationalisation programme for diesel in Peninsular Malaysia.
Consequently, the Euro 5 B7 blend remains 20 sen higher, now priced at RM3.50 per litre. Diesel prices in East Malaysia stay the same, at RM2.15 per litre and RM2.35 per litre, respectively. Petrol prices have not changed; RON 97 petrol remains at RM3.47 per litre, and RON 95 is at its current ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre.
These prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, August 14, 2024, when the next fuel price update will be announced. This is the year’s 32nd weekly fuel pricing update and the 291st since the pricing format was introduced at the beginning of 2019.
