The facelifted Honda City Hatchback is launched today, priced from around RM86,000.
The lineup remains unchanged, comprising five versions: S grade priced at RM85,900 (excluding insurance), E at RM90,900, V at RM95,900, Petrol RS at RM100,900, and e:HEV RS hybrid at RM112,900.

The updated City Hatchback features improvements to its exterior, presenting a livelier and sportier appearance with a redesigned honeycomb front grille, front lower grille, LED front fog lights, and rear bumper lower garnish.

The addition of "Berlina Black" 16-inch alloy wheels and a fresh, edgy side sill garnish enhances the sporty aesthetic of both RS variants.
The petrol RS and e:HEV RS variants now have an extended length, measuring 4,369mm, while the S, E, and V variants remain at 4,350mm.

The Honda Sensing safety suite is now included as standard in all variants.

The Honda Sensing package comprises Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Auto High Beam (AHB).

In 2024, the safety suite now includes the Lead Car Departure Notification, and exclusively, the hybrid model receives an additional Honda Sensing feature known as Low Speed Follow.

All hatchback versions come with safety elements like six airbags and walk away auto lock.
Except for the S variant, all versions feature a high-resolution multi-angle reverse camera.
Furthermore, the V and RS models come with Honda LaneWatch to help minimize blind spots.

The RS models feature Honda CONNECT, a smartphone application integration, providing safety, security, and convenience functionalities.
Honda CONNECT is an optional accessory available for the S, E, and V variants.

The City Hatchback S, E, V, and RS models feature a 1.5-liter dual camshaft i-VTEC engine, delivering 121PS and 145Nm of torque, paired with a continuous variable transmission.
Meanwhile, the RS e:HEV hybrid is equipped with a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle dual camshaft i-VTEC engine, combined with an e-CVT transmission and an electric motor.
The engine produces 98PS and 127Nm of torque, while the electric motor generates 109PS and 253Nm of torque, setting a new standard in its class.
The hybrid is equipped with deceleration selector paddles, allowing the driver to activate them for power regeneration and vehicle deceleration.

Honda Malaysia targets to sell 900 units of the new City Hatchback monthly.
Hironobu Yoshimura, the managing director and chief executive officer of Honda Malaysia, stated that the City Hatchback has surpassed sales of 28,700 units since its introduction in the local market in 2021.
