Jaecoo J8 PHEV Unveiled in China, Set to Arrive in Malaysia in Q4 2024

The Jaecoo J8 PHEV has been unveiled in China, with initial images showcasing the premium SUV. Anticipated to hit Malaysian markets in the fourth quarter of 2024, it boasts a 1.5-liter engine paired with two electric motors (one for each axle) and a specialized hybrid transmission for propulsion. The J8 delivers a robust total output of 605 horsepower and 915 Newton-meters of torque.



Surprisingly, the J8 PHEV achieves a 0-100 km/h time of 5.4 seconds. Charging options include both AC and DC methods, with an added perk of a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature enabling the car to power electronic devices.
