Proton S70 saw the delivery of 1,442 units in 2024, with an impressive number of over 8,000 bookings received

In 2024, Proton has already delivered 1,442 Proton S70 cars, making it the top-selling midsize sedan in Malaysia for January. This accomplishment occurred in less than three months since they started taking orders and just a bit over two months since the sedan was launched.



Proton got more than 8,000 orders for the Proton S70, which is a jump of 3,000 bookings since December 2023. Not just in Malaysia, they've also sent 15 cars to Brunei before the official launch in February. When Proton launched the S70 in Malaysia, they aimed to sell 3,000 units in the first year. Looking at their current performance, they're on course to meet or surpass that target. The S70's sales have also helped Proton achieve its best start to a year since 2013, with a total of 12,882 cars sold in January. This surpasses both the previous month's sales and those of January 2023.
